It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Brown of Vandalia, Illinois, who passed away on August 19, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Ireland and Genevieve Skinner Neuenschwander (Sanders); her husband Darrel Eugene Brown; her children, Darren and Dawn; and her siblings, Donald, James, Robert Skinner, Judith Rhoads and Dorothy Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Brown (Kathy) and Angela Reeter (Matt) of Vandalia, IL. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to SBL Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care.
