He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Leach and Eufa Leach (Francis); his wife Luella Leach; his son Gary Leach; and his brothers, Charles, Harold and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his daughter Vicky Schaal (Matthew); his grandsons, Brady Haupt (Megan) and Corey Schaal; and his great grandchild Brooke Haupt of Vandalia, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (301 E Main St, Ramsey, IL 62080). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church (726 W Fillmore St, Vandalia, IL 62471). A burial will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at the Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery (726 W Fillmore St, Vandalia, IL 62471).
Memorial donations can be made out to the Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
