He is survived by: his children, Douglas Bruhl (Brenda) of Port Charlotte, FL, Jeffrey Bruhl of Varna, Jay Bruhl (Dawn) of Papillion, NB, Gregory Bruhl (Donna) of Leroy, Brenda Roth (Marv) of Bloomington and Edwin Bruhl Jr. of Varna; his grandchildren, Katie, Michael, Bradley Bruhl, Sarah Hogun, Laura Jordan, Brandon and Marin Roth; and his great grandchildren, Jake and Aubrie Bruhl.
Memorials may be directed to either; the Varna Fire Department, the Illinois Veterans Home-LaSalle, or St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Varna, in Edwin's name.
