Ruth Ann Jesse Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Ann Jesse of Varna, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 28, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schinzel and Minnie Schinzel (Walgenbach); her husband Bob of Mary's Church; her sons, Steve and Marty Jesse; and her brothers, Clayton and Thurman Schinzel.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Dupuis (Philippe) of Varna, Sue Jesse of Varna, Mary Jean Maker (Jerry) of Strawberry Point, IA, Dr. Barry Jesse (Linda) of Hull, MA, Mark Jesse (Lesa) of Toluca and Mitchell Jesse (Melinda) of Lacon. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
