She was predeceased by: her father William J.; her husband Andrew J. Surmeier; her son Steven Surmeier; her sister Ruth Kramper; her nephew Darrell Surmeier; her father-in-law Ben; and her brothers-in-law, Robert and Ralph Surmeier.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Kirchner (Andrew) of Nashville, IL; her grandchildren, Becky Palko (Michael) of O'Fallon, IL, Cindy McDonald (Beau) of Houston, TX, Allison Kirchner of Clayton, MO, Joe Kirchner of Lexington, KY and Haley Surmeier of Chester, IL; her great grandchildren, Theo Palko, Maren McDonald, Killian and Kailer; her sister-in-law Eileen Surmeier; and her nieces, Lynn McCammon (Dave), Shelly Comley (Mike) and Sara Rockaway (Jim). She is also survived by numerous great nieces, great nephews, great-great nephews and cousins.
