It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Scanlan of Venedy, Illinois, born in Worden, Illinois, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Scanlan and Lela Scanlan; and his siblings, Larry Sr., Kenneth, Charles, Dempsey, Jack Scanlan, Patricia Buss and Carol Scanlan.
He is survived by: his sister Sharon Storck (Kenneth) of Addieville, IL; and his children, Darrel, Kathy, Angel, Lori, Troy, Leslie and Jordan. He is also survived by several grandchildren and two step grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
