With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bruce E. Mercer of Vermont, Illinois, who passed away on August 20, 2019 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Whitney Mercer; and his sister Jeanette Walters. He is survived by: his sons, Josh Mercer of Vermont, IL, Adam Mercer (Dawn) of Vermont, IL and Brian Mercer (Amy) of Vermont, IL; his mother Mary Ellen Farwell (Hickle) of Astoria, IL; and his grandchildren, Sydney Bainter, Noah Mercer, Jonas Mercer, Benjamin Mercer, Easton Mercer, Jamison Mercer, Briley Mercer and Max Mercer.
Memorials may be given to the Vermont Fire Department or the Vermont Memorial Ball Park.
