With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David A. Brockley of Vermont, Illinois, who passed away on August 26, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As David departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy David leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Brockley and Nola Brockley (Aten); his grandson Shawn Mayall; and his sisters, Doris Kost (Virginia McCormick) and Donna Farr.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Wrestler (Terry) of Macomb, Ronnie Brockley of Table Grove, IL and Rodney Brockley of Rushville, IL.
