He was predeceased by: his wife Lori Lynn Vandygriff; his parents, Samuel Vandygriff and Nancy Jean Vandygriff (Lutz); and his grandparents, John, Nola Lutz (Hoover), Horace and Catherine Vandygriff (Nolan).
He is survived by: his siblings, Stephanie Lalor (Matt) and Robert Vandygriff (Christy); his children, Donald Vandygriff (Emily), Cori Dapper (Jeff Ralph) and Catherine Misner (Chase); his nieces and nephews, Steven Vandygriff, Aspen Vandygriff, Serah Vandygriff and Amanda Lalor; and his grandchildren, Alexander Dierking, Thomas Dapper, Nola Dierking, Hunter Dapper-Ralph, Cloud Vandygriff, Abraxos Vandygriff and Chloe Misner.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
