We announce the death of Robert F. Kaelber of Vermont, Illinois, who passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Kaelber and Della Kaelber (Hoffman); his grandson Joseph Cheatam; his stepdaughter Vickie Chambers; and his sister Mary June Mast.
He is survived by: his sons, Rick Kaelber (Kim) of Vermont and Frank Kaelber of Springfield, IL; his grandchildren, Ambur Williamson, Maicie Lutz (David), Robert Kaelber (Kylie Robertson) and Anna Kemper (Austin); and his great grandchildren, Keeley, Baylor of Savannah, E. J., Aria and Corbin.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Vermont Cemetery (900 N Union St, Vermont, IL 61484).
Memorials may be made to the St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
