With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John A. Bakke of Vernon Hills, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 3, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bakke and Emma Bakke. He is survived by: his spouse Jenet Bakke; his children, Jill Bakke (Walter Pancewicz), Joyce Varzandeh (Houman) and James Bakke (Charlene); his grandchildren, Samantha, Katharine, Victoria, Sam, Nick and Nicholas; his great grandchild Noah; and his siblings, Barbara Nord (late Richard) and Robert Bakke.
