He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sheya and Nazera Sheya; and his siblings, Adele, Emmaline, Helen, Betty, George and Leon.
He is survived by: his wife Inez Sheya (Larsen); his children, Lynnette Tucci (Joey) of Lindenhurst, IL, Valerie Sheya (Tom) of Gurnee, IL and Steve Sheya of Lake Villa, IL; and his grandchildren, Tina, Cody (Amber), Brooke, Nikki, Brett, Ethan and Miles.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Mary of Vernon (235 US-45, Indian Creek, IL 60061). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
