We bid farewell to Lyle R. Reiter of Vernon Hills, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 30, 2025 at the age of 83. Lyle touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his son Timothy Reiter; his parents, Raymond Reiter and Martha Reiter; his parents-in-law, John and Alice Murphy; his siblings-in-law, Rev. John, Roger, Michael Murphy and Rita Murphy; and his nephew Thomas Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Reiter; his children, Linda Christian (Paul) and James Reiter (Nancy Frane); his grandchildren, Samuel Christian and Caitlin Horbacz (Chris); his great grandchild Theo; his sister Joyce Mirous (Mike); his aunt Irene Schlemmer; and his sisters-in-law, Carol and Karen Murphy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins.
