She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Hausken and Astrid Hausken (Anderson); her husband Don; and her siblings, Russell, Orville, Earl, Norman, Evelyn Swenhaugen, Clara Hauge, Shirley Johnson Seidler, Lois Anderson and Doris Olson.

She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Baker (Deb) of Verona, Brad Baker (Linda) of Verona and Bryan Baker (Deb) of Verona; her grandchildren, Jason Baker (Kaitlin) of Alexandria, Dan Baker (Elizabeth) of Seneca, Matt Baker (Stacey) of Morris, Brooke Katcher (Andrew) of Ransom, Brent Baker (Sarah) of Verona, Bryanne Heitzig (Adam) of Fieldon, Coley Reel (Dillon) of Ottawa, A. J. of Verona, Paige of Verona, Faith of Verona and Max Baker of Verona; and her great grandchildren, Jack, Grant Baker, Lilah, Ford Baker, Luke, Nathan Baker, Baylor, Blake Katcher, Lena, Henry, Beth Baker and Halle Heitzig. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Helen's memory to Pleasant View Luther Home in Ottawa or to the Morris Hospital Foundation.
