He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Sargeant and Vonda Sargeant (Garrison); and his brothers, Mark Byron, Randy Cooper and Steven Peck.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Sargeant (Wendy) of Monmouth, JamieLynn Grant (Steven) of Victoria and Bryan Sargeant (Krista) of Galesburg, Illinois; and his siblings, Dale Sargeant of Grass Valley, Cathy Swearingen of Moline and Bambi Good (Mark) of Caseyville, Illinois.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
