It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Sue Kerley of Vienna, Illinois, who passed away on December 20, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Taber and Dottie E. Taber (Tharp); her brothers, Robert Taber, Larry Taber and Norris Taber; and her sister-in-law Laura Taber.
She is survived by: her husband Donald G. Kerley; her daughters, Sherri Ross (Ty) of Vienna, Illinois and Beth Elliott (Mark) of Vienna, Illinois; her grandchildren, Kassandra Taylor (Shane), Cory Ross (Gracie), Cady Morris (Tyler), Kodee, Kelsi Ingle and Levi Ingle (Elyssa); her great grandchildren, Tenleigh Taylor, Beckett Taylor, Hattie Ross and Hayden Morris; her siblings, Janice Shoemaker of Harrisburg, Jack Taber of Cape Girardeau, Brenda Hogg (Larry) of Harrisburg, Cindy Obermark (Paul) of Metropolis, Illinois and Randy Taber (Susan) of Metropolis, Illinois; her sister-in-law Terry Taber Combee of Lakeland, Florida; Rillis Kerley, Roy Kerley (Ann), Letha Breeden and Wilma Murphy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
