He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Girtman and Dorothy Mae Girtman (Little); and his siblings, Howard Leon "Tom" Girtman, Charles Girtman, Joe Girtman and Ruth Maxine Girtman.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Kay Girtman; his son Timothy Coy Girtman; and his sisters, Donna Jane Girtman Duty and Judith Ann Girtman Bolinger. He is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
