We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Johnny Ray Grindstaff (Vienna, Illinois), born in Maryville, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ed Grindstaff and Esther Grindstaff (Patty); and his sister Dora Long. He is survived by : his wife Juanita Kay Dawson; his children, Sammy Grindstaff (Shay) of Friendsville, Tennessee, Tammy Mathis (J. D.) of Grantsburg, Illinois and Chrissy Hayden (Matt) of Vienna; his grandchildren, Dakota Mathis, Jessie Mathis, Kylie Branscum, Kensey Branscum and Riley Grindstaff; and his siblings, Darryl Grindstaff, Wayne Grindstaff, Deena Wilhoit, Edna Sype, Darlene Curtis and Betty Stone. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home (705 N 1st St, Vienna, IL 62995). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
