She was predeceased by : her parents, John Blanchard and Vivian Blanchard (Bennett); her former life partner Albert L. Prince; and her siblings, Rodney Blanchard and Joan Davis.

She is survived by : her husband John C. Okerson; her son Johnny Lee; and her brother Ronald Blanchard. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
