She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest A. Vaughn and Lydia Vaughn (Folks); her husband Donald R. Elliott; her sister Ernestine Mohr (Ernest); her half-siblings, Violet Castleman, Carlos Vaughn (Srynitha) and Martin Vaughn (Pearl); her siblings-in-law, Bill Elliott (JoAnn) and Mary Lou Avery (Jim); and her sibling's children, Jimmy Ray Avery and Sheryl Jones.
She is survived by: her foster daughter Donna L. Robinson of Marion; her grandson Nathan Thurston (Lacey) of Antioch, Tennessee; and her sibling's children, Tim Elliott (Melody) of Vienna, Mark Elliott (Beth) of Vienna, Cindy Studer (Ron) of Vienna, Lisa Overton of Vienna and Becky Groves (Mitch) of Newburgh, Indiana.
