It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Russell Lynn Sims (Vienna, Illinois), born in Wood River, Illinois, who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Conrad Eugene Sims and Shelby Ann Sims (Hunter); his significant other Karrie Sims; and his sister Jackie Bledsoe. He is survived by : his children, Kala Allen (Adam) of Vienna, Randol Sims (Heather) of Vienna and Andrew Smith (Kayci) of Carterville; his grandchildren, Liam, Sawyer, Jade, Iris, Ellie and Josie; and his sister Candy Anderson (Eddie) of Olive Branch. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
