He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dodson; his daughter Cherie Dodson Weber; his daughter-in-law Donna Dodson (Miner); his grandchildren, Sarah Cunningham (Dodson), Jacob Dodson Weber, Jamie Dodson, Julia Dodson, Zoe Dodson and Joel Dodson; his grandsons-in-law, Benjamin Cunningham and Connor Wiles; his great grandchildren, Danny Cunningham, Grace Cunningham, Ava Cunningham and Benjamin Cunningham Jr.; and his sister Marymae Meyer (Dodson).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Steuerle Chapel (15 W Park Blvd, Villa Park, IL 60181). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at the Shiloh Memorial Cemetery (118 Henderson Rd, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863).
