He is survived by: his children, Anna Mattson (Albert Gomez) and Alex Mattson (Agnes); and his grandsons, Ethan and Benjamin.
A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Steuerle Chapel (15 W Park Blvd, Villa Park, IL 60181). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
