He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion "Bud" Malone and Margaret Malone; and his sister Marian "Rosie" Laws Sheffer (Malone). He is survived by: his daughter Patricia "Malone" Dunning (Joey); his wife Emma Malone (Smoot); his son David Malone (Sherrie); his grandchildren, Jenna Britton (Brent), Laura Woolard (Tony), Tayler Lacey (Kyle), Christian Dunning, Makayla Dunning and Aryn Malone (Rebecca); his great grandchildren, Kevin, Abagayle, Noah and Ella Britton; his grandchildren, Jovie, Canon Woolard, Levi, Chloe and Claire Lacey; and his brother Gary Malone (Beverly). He is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Liberty Cemetery.
