He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Charles Shipley and Dorothy Rose Shipley (Ortegel); his wife Debra Dean "Debbie" Askew; his great grandchild Riplee Jo Crouch; his siblings, Don Shipley, Bill Shipley, Vernon Shipley and Eileen Kurpis; and his niece Pam Langlitz.
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Shipley (Jamie) of New Boston and Robyn Mize (Tim) of Villa Ridge, Illinois; his grandchildren, Cody Shipley, Jessica Savage (Patrick), Cassie Forsyth (Paul), Kennedy Prichard (Damon) and Nathan Shipley (Halie); and his siblings, Beverly Parrott (Bob) of Westmont, Illinois and Glenn Shipley (Marilyn) of Chicago, Illinois. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
