She is survived by: her son Tary Joe Powers of Champaign, Illinois; her stepchildren, Sandy Meinhart of Knoxville and Steve Powers (Deb) of Mahomet, Illinois; her granddaughters, Danielle Jo Tarter and Tara Christine Morales; and her great grandchildren, Taylor Tarter, Bailey Tarter, Maci Jo Powers, Isabell Morales, Aden Morales, Leah Renee Bess, Alpha Jones and Omega Jones.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dennison Funeral Home - Viola (1601 13th St, Viola, IL 61486). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.

Memorials contributions may be made St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a humane society of your choice.
