She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brock and Fern Brown Brock; her husband Robert L. Cook; and her siblings, Pat Stancliff, Francie Howard, Topper Brock and Ronnie Brock.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Cook (Ema) of Muscatine, Jerry Cook (Alicia) of Keithsburg and Christine Cook of Maquon; her sister Candy Swank (John) of Aledo; and her siblings-in-law, Kay Lindquist (Jim) of Giltner, Norma Greene of Grand Island, Diane Cook of Madison, Wisconsin, Jerry Cook (Barb) of Bettendorf, Steve Howard of Keithsburg and Red Stancliff of Aledo. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Viola United Methodist Church (1407 18th Ave, Viola, IL 61486). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Viola Cemetery (1117 Norlawn Dr, Viola, IL 61486).
