Donald Gibler Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Gibler of Virden, Illinois, who passed away on October 21, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Earl and Mamie Elaine Griffin Gibler; his grandson James D. Hoskison; and his aunt Jean White. He is survived by: his wife Laurie; his children, Tara Hoskinson (James) and Daniel Gibler; his grandchildren, Claire, Alice, Sylvia Hoskinson, Griffin and Reagan Gibler; and his sister Cynthia Wilson. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Benedict's Catholic Church (125 E Washington St, Auburn, IL 62615). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Benedict's Catholic Church (128 E Washington St, Auburn, IL 62615).
