She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Reed and Irene Reed (Sargen); her sister Ronda Kay Kozicky; her nieces, Shannon Kay Ramey and Peggy Ann Summers; and her nephew Frank Lake, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Stanley Eugene "Gene" Strukely; her great-niece Amy Hampton (Jeremy); her nephew Todd Kozicky (Heather); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Paige and Hunter; her extended family, Ron and Dorothy Strukely; and also, Mazi Grace Jenkins (Sugar Pie), Kirsten, Katelynn and Emma.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Airsman & Calvert Funeral Home (521 N Springfield St, Virden, IL 62690). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested and may be made to the Alzheimer's Research and will be accepted by Airsman & Calvert Funeral Homes, Virden, who is honored to be caring for Lou's family.
