He was predeceased by: his parents, John Furman and Mildred Furman. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, John (Nan), Joel (Gosia), Joshua (Carrie), James (Sadie) and Rachel; and his grandchildren, Alayna, Trace, Aaron, Sebastian, Andrew, Oliver and Lucy.
