With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Cox of Virginia, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 2, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Barbara is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Paul and Marie Paul (Braner) of Arenzville, Illinois.. She is survived by: her husband Darrell Cox of Virginia; her sons, Greg Wilson (Nancy), Ken Wilson (Heather) and Justin Cox; her brothers, Jim Paul (Kristina) and Charlie Paul (JoDell); her grandchildren, Tyler Wilson, Nicole Wilson and Baylie Wilson; and her great grandchildren, Brooks and Barrett (Bear). She is also survived by her three boys, her daughters-in-law, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren.
