It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ginny Steffan of Virginia, Illinois, born in Burlington, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Hirn and Marie Hirn; her husband James Steffan (Jim); her aunt Frances; her uncle Eldon Swartz; and her cousin Patty Scwartz.

She is survived by : her children, Lisa Mulvain (Mark), Timothy Steffan (Rachel) and David Steffan; her grandchildren, Tanner Steffan, Geoffrey Steffan, Devin Mulvain, Madalyn Steffan, Markayla Mulvain and Emily Steffan; her niece Cherylynn Salvetti (Eugene); her nephew Bill Hirn; her cousins, Eldon Schwarz (Barb), Ellen Mirshak (Tom) and Fran Jeffery (Chuck); her brother William Hirn; and also Madeleine Hirn (Cookie).

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the McCorkle Funeral Home - Durand Chapel (101 E Main St, Durand, IL 61024).
