It is with sadness that the passing of Ted Teegarden of Virginia, Illinois is shared. Ted, born on December 6, 1947, passed away on September 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Ted will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Ted by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Ted is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Ted’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Teegarden and Jacqueline Oradat Teegarden. He is survived by: his sons, Jake Teegarden (Ami) and Joe Teegarden (Ashley); his grandchildren, Sadie, Luke, Evelyn and Emma; and his brother Steven Teegarden (Mary). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Luke's Hall (170 N Main St, Virginia, IL 62691).
