We bid farewell to Carolyn Lee Grams of Volo, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 10, 2025 at the age of 81. Carolyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Miller and Ramona Miller; her parents-in-law, Gertrude and William; her grandmothers, Kos, Christine Patterson, Chantal Schuerr, Brianna, Shelby, Bridget Card and Piper Hindman; her husband William; and her great-nephew Ryan.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Santiago (Keith); her granddaughter Mila Santiago; her sister Marilyn Miller; her pets, Lil Cheese and Lily; her siblings-in-law, Greg (Myra) and Georgiana; her sibling's children, Brian (Lesa), Jay and Brenda; and her great-nephew Mike (Shannon).
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hamsher Lakeside Funerals & Cremations (12 N Pistakee Lake Rd, Fox Lake, IL 60020). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peter Church (27551 Volo Village Rd, Volo, IL 60073). A burial was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at the St. Peter Catholic Cemetery (27551 Volo Village Rd, Volo, IL 60073).
