Alma Edmonds Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2025, at the age of 93, Alma Edmonds of Wadsworth, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Alma shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Alma farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren and Winifred; her husband Eugene William Edmonds; her sons, William David Edmonds and Scott Edmonds (Barbara); her great grandchild Brody Edmonds; and her brothers, Phillip Edmonds and Loren Edmonds.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Edmonds (Rosanne) of Winthrop Harbor, IL and Rodger Edmonds (Toni) of Russell, IL; and her siblings, Jerry Longbons (Lynn) of Valcon and Doug Longbons (Angela) of Brandon, PA. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Strang Funeral Home (1055 Main St, Antioch, IL 60002). The inurnment will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Warren Cemetery (1475 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031).
