He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Zoe Madelyn Koziol; his parents, Irene Koziol and Peter Koziol; his siblings, Patsy Thornton, Evelyn Rodriguez, Leona Remsgar, Bruno Koziol and Max Koziol; his siblings-in-law, Karl Remsgar, Tom Cappello and Anna Koziol; and his in-laws, Leo and Frances Remsgar.
He is survived by: his wife Leah; his children, LeAnn (Stacey Hartstirn) and Rob; his grandson Ryan; his brother Ray; and his close friend Jimmy Sullins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Church of St. Patrick (15000 W Wadsworth Rd, Wadsworth, IL 60083).
