It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sue Wilson Weiland of Wadsworth, Illinois, who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Sue may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Weatherburn and Percy Wilson Weatherburn; and her sister Sally Wilson Crowell. She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Lucero and Alison Volpentesta; her son-in-law David Volpentesta; her grandchildren, Aidan Lucero, Bella Lucero and Mia Volpentesta; and her niece Jennifer Crowell Curtis.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Don Bar Farm (41955 N Mill Creek Rd, Old Mill Creek, IL 60083).
