He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Schwartz and Pauline Schwartz (Larsh); his siblings, Ruth Schwartz, Dave Schwartz and Steve Schwartz; and his brother-in-law Gary Rice.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie of Walnut Hill; his children, Jason Schwartz (Becky) of St. Louis, Mat Schwartz (Andrea) of Centralia, Ryan Walker (Jennifer) of Minnesota, Rudie Walker (Tori) of Odin and Reis Walker of Breese; his grandchildren, Val Walker (Savannah), Gus Walker, Sophia Schwartz, Brandon Walker, Xander Walker (Kendra Hamilton), Blaise, Luke Schwartz, Kaid, Brooklyn, Kyan and Branson Walker; his great grandchildren, Delilah, Danielle and Kinley Walker; his siblings, Tom Schwartz (Nancy James) of Centralia, Tony Schwartz, Kandice Fischer of Centralia and Sara Smith (Steve) of Centralia; his sisters-in-law, Anne Schwartz of Walnut Hill and Linda Schwartz of Centralia; and his close friend Kokomo Jourdan (Wilma) of Odin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Mary Catholic Church (424 E Broadway, Centralia, IL 62801). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (424 E Broadway, Centralia, IL 62801). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St Mary Catholic Church (424 E Broadway, Centralia, IL 62801). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at the Calvary Cemetery (1300 Gragg St, Centralia, IL 62801).
