The memory of Virginia Gullett of Walnut, Illinois, who passed away on August 28, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Rixie and Daisy Rixie (Henson); her husband Marvin Gullett, Jr.; her son Daniel R. Gullett; her siblings, Donald T. Rixie and Della M. Neely (Bobby Neely); her nephew Robert Neely (Dawn); her sister Dorothy M. Barntish (Jim Barntish); her sister-in-law Alethea Burton (Joe Burton); her niece Deb Peterson (Burton); and her sister-in-law Eva Robertson (Harvey Robertson).
She is survived by: her daughter Jeanne E. Gullett (Holly A. Basting); her daughter-in-law Helen Sue Gullett (Crisman); her grandsons, Mason, Isaac, Amire, Kevin and Brysen; and her sibling's children, Deb Toavs (Barntish), David Barntish (Karin), Gail Hahn (Greg Hahn), Bruce Burton (Linda Sams Burton), Tamara Rixie and Carol Johnson.
Sadly, in 2023, Jinny contracted Covid and shortly after developed dementia.
Friends and family are welcome to make a donation to The Alzheimer's Association or The National Audubon Society in Virginia's name in lieu of flowers if they so choose.
