She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Runkle and Ester Runkle (Kuntz); her husband Harold Hurst; her grandchildren, Lynnette and Sheldon; and her siblings, Melvin, Wayne, Bernetta, Edwin, Eldon and Ronny.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Hurst (Anna) of Sierra Vista, AZ, Mary Strong of Jourdanton, TX, Keith Hurst (Rosanne) of Byron, IL and Nancy Harris (Jerry) of Jourdanton, TX; her grandchildren, Meagan, Brittany, Heidi, Jarred and Lucas; her great grandchildren, Taybree and Logan; and her siblings, Marilynn, Millie, Dick, Alvin, Marlen and Dale. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Pastor Kevin Cernek will officiate the service, Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Freeport, IL, A memorial has been established in Alberta's memory.
