He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Martin and Bertha Martin (Kant); his daughter Denise; his siblings, Harold Martin, Delbert Martin (Viola), Cletus Martin (Phyllis), Charles Martin Jr. (Marvel) and Virgina Martin; and his brother-in-law Laverne Bergum.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Wand of Warren, IL; his children, Deneen McNutt (Allan) of Warren, IL, Kevin Martin (Lynette) of Warren, IL and Jolene Bohnsack (Bryan) of Warren, IL; his grandchildren, Jared McNutt (Kaitlyn), Brandon McNutt, Reed McNutt (Maddie Pingel), Kyle VenHuizen (Abby), Kailynn Martin (Jacob Schlosser), Elaina Martin (Josh Schlosser), Ariel Weatherby (Craig), Brynn Calow (Payton), Brayden Bohnsack (Mallorie Peterson) and Adalynn Bohnsack; his great grandchildren, Karter, Kam NcNutt, Wyatt, Sawyer, Arya VenHuizen, Mya, Maddox Weatherby and Calow; and his siblings, Virgil Martin (Joanne) of Lena, IL and Eunice Bergum of South Wayne, WI. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home (519 Tisdell Ave, Warren, IL 61087). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
