Gary L. Wand Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary L. Wand of Warren, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 15, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Wand and Janice Wand (Doubler); his siblings, Bob, Kenny, Paul Wand and Rose Mary Wand; and his son-in-law Tom Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Williams (Denny Sigafus) of Warren, IL, J. C. Wand of Omaha, NE, Jamie Petsche of Omaha, NE and Jaben Wand (Nikki) of Tyler, TX; his grandchildren, Devin Wand, Sven Petsche, Nicholas Wand, Shayloh Petsche and Makenna Heidleberg; his siblings, Ruth Martin of Warren, IL, Mary Anne Ruef (Duane) of Janesville, WI, Stanley Wand (Kathy) of Warren and Ronnie Wand of Lena, IL; and his nieces, Jo Ann Wand of Omaha, NE and Tammy Gustason of Lena, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their children.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home (519 Tisdell Ave, Warren, IL 61087). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
