She was predeceased by: her parents-in-law, Clarence and Joyce Stake (Stephens); and her sister-in-law Mary Lou Gundermann (John). She is survived by: her husband Greg; her sons, Mark Stake (Jennifer) and Matthew Stake (Melanie); her grandchildren, Maria, Sydney, Ariel and Mitchell Stake; her siblings, Mary Margaret "Meg" Heyman (Gene), Anne Borecki (Ralph), Daniel McCarthy (Jan) and James McCarthy (Sheryl); her brothers-in-law, Joseph Stake (Judy) and Robert Stake (Melody); her siblings' children, David Heyman (Philippa Hubbard), Katie and Ellie McCarthy; her great-niece Alice; and her great-nephew Nicholas Heyman.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Kam's name for donations to St. Ann Parish or Malcom Eaton Enterprises.
