He was predeceased by: his wife Theda; and his daughter Delorse Keene. He is survived by: his son Roger Dean of Lexington, N. C.; his stepchildren, Raymond McKinley (Ann) of Warren, Rodney McKinley (Lillian) of Ashboro, N. C., Randy McKinley (Charlene) of Dallas, N. C., Jason Mitchell (Kaye) of Charlotte, N. C. and Jennifer Pruitt of Mt. Holly, N. C.; his sister Betty McDonald of O'calla, FL; his stepbrother Jerry Blackbourn of O'calla, FL; and his niece Gracie Christopher. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
