With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Alan Hughes of Warrensburg, Illinois, who passed away on November 2, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint David leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Hughes and Eileen Hughes. He is survived by: his daughter Kara (Darren Spain) of Chicago; and his brothers, Dennis Hughes (Betty) of Decatur and Larry Hughes (Rella) of Columbus, Indiana.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
