She was predeceased by : her parents, George Gerdes and Lillie Trautvetter Gerdes; her husband John Pierce; and her brother George Gerdes. She is survived by : her children, Tena Hatfield (Clifford "Rusty") of Basco, IL, Jolene Ison (Steve) of Keokuk and John Kennedy Pierce II of Warsaw, IL; her granddaughters, Gabrielle Hatfield and Stephanie Ison; her great grandchild Lorelei Shoup; and her brother Dean Gerdes (Marilyn) of Warsaw, IL..
