She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilbert Hauff and Lucy Hauff (Towles); her former life partner Gerald Hester; her stepson Nathaniel Tregar; her nephew Nathan Keppel; and her siblings-in-law, Steve Austin and Sally Hauff.

She is survived by : her husband Jeff Austin of Warsaw; her children, Angela Gonzales (Johnny) of Carthage, Christian Hauff of Keokuk, Thadius Hester of Fort Madison and Ashley Austin (Tiffany) of Colchester, Illinois; her siblings, Richard Hauff of Keokuk, Patty Hauff of Warsaw, Bubby Hauff (Renea Glenn) of Keokuk and Lena Dyer (Bruce) of Keokuk; and her pets, Dottie, Buddy and Bowser. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
