He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilber Devericks and Marion Devericks (Northrup); his wife Gladys; his children, Arthur and Lisa; and his siblings, Ida Pratt, Edna Blizzard, Helen Klein, Clara Schultheis and James Devericks.
He is survived by: his son Brian Devericks of Keokuk; his grandchildren, Wade Devericks (Alyssa), Brian Devericks (Eva), Jake Devericks and Sabrina Kissell (Kenneth); his brother-in-law Carl Schultheis; and his great-aunt Lillian Hayes. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
