He was predeceased by : his parents, Solomon Kennell and Lena Kennell (Zoss); his siblings, Roy Kennell and Wilma Ulrich; his son-in-law Raymond Petersheim; and his grandchildren, Darla Shellhorn and Licahan Kennell.
He is survived by : his wife Edith Kennell; his children, Charles Kennell (Julie) of Washburn, IL, Les Kennell (Jill) of Washburn, IL, Rachel Hostetler (Marvin) of Roanoke, IL, Carolyn Imhoff (Bob) of Eureka, IL and Judy Miller (Stanton) of Hutchinson, KS; and his great grandchild Esther Litwiller. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; and forty-seven great-grandchildren.
