He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil B. Lockhart and Lois Lockhart (O'Rear); his wife Carole J. Jackson; his brother Wallace; his daughter-in-law Vicki Lockhart; his grandson Jeremy; and his great grandchild Blaine.

He is survived by : his father-in-law Curt Fuqua; and his children, Robert of Sparland, Orland (Ethel) of Centralia, Karla Cary (Ed) of Missouri, Carole Steele (Dave) of Toluca and Bill of Peoria. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
